Go Boomers!
Well soccer season is over and I think it turned out successful. After the first game of tears, Braden rebounded and did really good and had a great time. I told him it was his last game and he said, "No, I get to play again when I'm six." So I guess it's just begun! He had a fun team and a great coach and I look forward to his games when he is six. Most of our games were played in the rain or even snow, but they were still fun and the kids didn't care.
This is Braden's biggest fan. Will loved to go watch the games, even in the rain.
Just like dad
It was finally good enough weather for Braden to really use his Christmas present from Santa. He got golf clubs and has been wanting to get out and use them on a real golf course. Braden got to and finish the last couple of holes with Cory last weekend. I asked Braden what to write about playing golf with his dad and he said to put "We love golf." This is true. Cory has the golf bug and of course he needs new irons, a new driver, new dri-fit Nike shorts--keep dreamin'.
Graduation Day is finally here!
Braden has graduated from preschool and is now a kindergartener. I can't believe it. Braden's class did a cute program with songs and a cheer and even a graduation march. He had a fun time at preschool and he learned a lot. Teacher Blair was great with him and I hope he gets as good of a teacher in kindergarten.
Yuck!
With all the graduation and showoffs for Braden, I had to throw this one in for Will. This is what he looks like after meals. Not a whole lot makes it in his mouth. He will only take his bottles and he is 9 1/2 months old! He is getting better at eating real food, but forget that baby stuff. If he didn't have thunder thighs and Michelin arms I might be worried.
Show Off!
The last couple of weeks have been really busy for us. Braden has had 4 showoff days in preschool. The were in tumbling, movement(not 'girl dance' as I have been telling him all year), swimming, and tennis.
Ok-so maybe this one is a little 'girl dance.' They twirled ribbons to The Colors of the Wind.
Braden loved to go to each activity and I think he'll be a little disappointed when he doesn't get to do all these fun things in kindergarten. He did really good in all the activities and it was fun to see him.

Treehouse Museum
Last Thursday we decided to go to the Treehouse museum in Ogden. We went with Calvin, Jen, and Ben. We stopped and had lunch at McDonalds where I realized I forgot a stroller. I decided to run across the street and buy a cheap one at Shopko because Will weighs over 20 pounds and can't walk yet. I don't think my arms would hold out for that long. So I went and bought a stroller for $15 bucks and we headed to the museum. When we got there, the lady at the front desk told us to leave our strollers at the front, they don't allow them! Of course, this was after I had cut off all the tags and assembled it! Luckly Jen talked her into letting us use it because Will was almost asleep, and they make the exception for sleeping kids. We promised Will would be asleep in no time and we headed in. We lied.
I thought Will would sleep but he just kept peeking out. Oh well, at least he got the stroller in! Once we got in there was a thousand things to do, all kinds of toys, and lots of dress-ups. There are different rooms and in each room there are dress-ups for the theme of the room. You can be a fireman, a mouse, a knight......
or a king.
Braden liked being the teacher and gave me some good lessons.
The kids really liked all the figures and animals in the Kenya room. About an hour after we got there was a bus of kindergarteners that left, which made it quiet and it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
There was so much to do and the kids had a blast. It is very kid friendly, which is nice. The kids were worn out by the time we left and slept on the way home.
