We have 3 snoobies now!

Braden has been hearing things a little different and then repeating them in his own way. I love to hear how he interperets things and I can't bring myself to correct him! I know it's not cute when he's an adult saying the wrong thing, but for now I think I'll let it slide.

Braden and Will got a little Snoopy stuffed animal from the MetLife guy and Braden was so happy when he came home and saw that we already had another Snoopy (I think it's from a happy meal). When Cory got home from work he had to tell him, "Dad, we have 3 Snoobies now."

The other day we were driving in the car and Braden said, "I have a cank in my mouth."

Braden came home one day and asked if we have wobbles by our house. I was confused and said I have never heard of that with Weeble Wobbles being the only thing I could think of. He said his friend told his that there are wobbles. I asked him what wobbles do and he said they come in your house and take your stuff. I finally figured out that he meant robbers but his friend can't say his r's very well. I still laugh when I say wobbles but think robbers.

Will's 1st Haircut

Will got his first official haircut last week. It's crazy how fast they grow up. I think I was delaying the haircut to try to keep him a little baby. As you can tell from the picture, it was overdue.

Bear Lake Weekend

Last weekend we went with Cory's family to Bear Lake for the weekend. The first night we ate at Cafe Sabor and then the kids went swimming at the pool. We went back to the cabin and played some games and called it a night. At least most of did. Will decided he didn't want to sleep even though it was 11:30! So Cory took him on a little drive and he fell right asleep. It's always hard to share a cabin with a lot of people especially with an 11 month old baby.

On Saturday Chad, Amy and Kasey biked around the lake while Cory, Kent, Donna, Eric, Todd, Lance, and Tara went golfing. When they got back we packed a lunch and headed to the lake. We spent the day relaxing on the beach, had a bean bag toss tournament (that Braden & Cory won!) rented a couple waverunners, and did and an egg toss!

Braden loved the beach especially the waverunner. Will did not care one bit about the sand and I'm sure he ate quite a bit.

On Sunday we woke up and headed to Bloomington Lake. It was about an hour from the cabin then a 1/2 mile hike. It is so pretty up there, but the water is COLD!

9
There is a rope swing that Braden was adamant about doing. It made me so nervous! I didn't know if he could hold on and if he didn't he would hit the rocks below. If he did hold on and not dare drop in the water he'd come swinging back and hit the rocks. I guess you have to just let him go.

He did great and held on and when we yelled drop he did. I think the water was colder than he expected and he did not like all the attention from everybody on the edge, but other than that it was a success. He is ready to go back but he thinks next time he DOES NOT need a life jacket on. Ummm..think again. He can swim pretty good, but rope swinging into an ice cold lake that is who knows how deep when you are 5 years old, requires a lifejacket-mom says.

We had a great time with everyone and look forward to going again soon.
